This is a good promethean site. It has information on maintenance, etc.

Proper care of your board's surface will allow for better interaction:

The surface of the board is a formica surface and will clean-up just like formica counter-tops. Use a pre-moistened wipe, such as Clorox or unscented baby wipes and then use a dry towel to remove any damp areas. To remove permanent marker, completely cover the marks with a dry erase marker, then clean as directed above.

Proper care of your PRM-35 projector will give a brighter image:

At least 2 times a year, use a vacuum or Dust Buster to suck the dust from the vents on both sides of the projector. Because the PRM-35 projector does NOT have a filter, it is very important to clean out the side vents by suctioning the dust out. NEVER use an air can and blow air into the projector to remove dust on the vents. This causes dust to build up on the lamp, which can then overheat and burn out.

The projector's warranty is for 3 years or 3000 hours.

Summer Storage:

1. Turn the power off on the board (red power light). Make sure the projector is also turned off.
2. Unplug the main power cable from the wall.
3. Use a queen or king fitted sheet to cover the board. You may need to tape the sheet to the back of the board, or tuck the corners in.
4. Use a large pillow case and cover the projector. Carefully secure the loose ends around the boom.
